106 searches rank on your site. Every single one brings in zero visits

This review is about who your website brings in. We went through the site, your search rankings and your Google listing. This is not a thin site: 39 real pages, dedicated guides on solar grants, EV chargers and installation costs, real trust badges for SEAI and Safe Electric shown on the homepage. The finding is that all 106 tracked searches produce 0 measured visits between them, and your best position anywhere is 15th. Your own Google listing for the grants page still advertises a grant amount that stopped being true in January 2024. It's all detailed below, with what to do about each one.

01 The rankings

106 real searches, and not one converts into a visit

The site tracks for 106 searches, more than almost any other site we've reviewed this month. Not one of them produces a measured visit. The closest is "solar pv grant" at 15th, on page two. Big-volume searches like "electric vehicle charging" (22,200 a month) and "ev charger" (5,400 a month) sit at 65th and 68th. No county or city name appears anywhere in the list.

ev charger5,40068th, from your EV charger category page.68th

A single cost-guide page carries around 20 of the 106 tracked searches on its own, none of them above 61st. That's real, substantial content pointed at real buying questions, just not yet strong enough to compete for any of them.

Bottom line: The content is genuinely there. None of it has won a search yet.
02 The specifics

Four things holding the numbers down

Wrong
Your grants page advertises the wrong amount
Your Google listing and meta description for the grants page both read "Save up to €4000" and reference a change happening "in January 2024". The real solar electricity grant in 2026 is capped at €1,800. This listing has been out of date for over two years.
Missing
No page targets any county or city
Across all 106 tracked searches, not one names Dublin or any other Irish location. Every page is aimed at a national or general question, which means the site never competes for the searches that carry local buying intent.
Leftover
A default test page is still live and indexed
A page titled simply "Test-page" is still live at solarcraft.ie/test-page/, a leftover from when the site was set up. It's not doing harm, but it's the kind of file a tidy-up pass should remove.
Buried
Your single biggest search sits on page seven
"Electric vehicle charging" carries 22,200 searches a month nationally, by far the largest volume tracked anywhere in your account, and your page for it sits at 65th.
Worth noticing

This is not a design problem. Real trust badges, a real 4-step process, a genuine spread of content across grants, costs and EV charging, all of it is there. These are aim and accuracy problems, and they get fixed by steady monthly work on pages and internal links, not by a redesign.

Bottom line: 39 real pages, 0 real visits. That gap closes with aim, not a rebuild.
03 Done for you

The fixes, already written out

Each fix below is ready to hand to whoever manages the site.

Fix 1 · New text for your grants page listing
This is what people see when your grants page comes up on Google today, next to what it should say. The current figure is over two years out of date.
What Google shows now
https://solarcraft.ie/seai-grants
SEAI Solar Grants | Save up to €4000 | Solar Craft
Save up to €4000 on SEAI Solar & EV Charger before grants decrease in 2024. On January 2024 it's decreasing to €2100, Act fast to lock in the current higher rates!
What it should show
https://solarcraft.ie/seai-grants
SEAI Solar Grants 2026 | Up to €1,800 | Solar Craft
The current SEAI solar electricity grant is up to €1,800. See how it applies to your home or business, and how to apply.
Fix 2 · Strengthen the two biggest searches
These carry the largest real search volume anywhere in your account.
electric vehicle charging → owner: /vehicles-in-ireland-and-the-need-for-ev-chargers/, 22,200 searches a month, currently 65th. Expand with a clear Dublin section and a stronger internal link from the homepage
ev charger → owner: /category/ev-charger/, 5,400 a month, currently 68th
Fix 3 · Quick fixes
Small items, done in one sitting.
Grant figure → correct every mention of €4000/€2100 across the site to €1,800
/test-page/ → delete, it's a leftover default page still live and indexed
Bottom line: Fix the grant figure first, since it's a factual claim a visitor can check themselves.
04 The plan

What to do and when

Start at the top. The bottom block is the work that moves the numbers.

Keep the grants and cost guides going. Real content, needs continued strengthening and correct figures kept current.

05 What it adds up to

Run your own numbers on it

Your two biggest searches add up to

27,600 people a month searching for EV charging and EV chargers alone.

Visits already arriving from those exact searches today: 0.

Your best position on either of them is 65th.

27,600 real searches a month sit on two pages you've already built, none of it converting into a visit yet. You know your close rate on enquiries and what an install is worth. That's the sum worth doing on your side.

Bottom line: The two biggest opportunities on the whole site currently earn nothing.
Why sooner beats later

Your keyword count grew 5 percent last month, so real progress is happening. An outdated grant figure sitting on a page meant to build trust works against that progress every day it stays live, since it's the kind of fact a visitor can check in seconds.
